I could be sleeping right now, I'm to angry to sleep. if you're wondering about the post on antislacker, well, don't use netscape ok? just don't. I was and I double clicked the bar thingy at the top to un maximise the window. and it took away what I had typed. I'm too pissed to re type any thing tonight. now back to why I was pissed to start with. I hate my roomate. the SOB turned off my alarm clock this morning. before I was totally awake. ok, Imagine sleeping soundly in your bed. your alarm goes off, you come out of your state of sleep and hit the snooze button as a fall back feature, (if you don't get your ass out of bed you'll ge re awoken in 9 min) but what happens if you don't get to the point where you physically touch your alarm clock? what if you stay half asleep the whole time because the alarm clock shuts off without you doing any thing.. next thing you know you wake up on your own and it's a half hour later, and you're gonna be late for work. After thinking about it I do remember seeing my roomate shutting off my alarm. However in the half asleep state my mind has only 2 rules. [alarm = wake up; if else = sleep] and tonight he told me that my alarm was too loud. I'd like to bash his head in.

Due to popular demand I am posting the new U of Nebraska logo. although I don't realy care for it

Those wacky regents are at it again. My school has decided that after 21 years we need a new logo. But guess what?! it's not realy a logo at all. It's just a fancy way of laying the words "University of Nebraska" I can't fricken belive that they had to hire an advertising agency to come up with that. I could have pulled a better logo out of my ass. Now it will cost $40,000 to gradually implement this thing. I like the old logo a lot more now. I was totally indifferent to it but now I kinda like it ... seeing what the alternative is.

This is the weirdest thing I've seen in my life. When I saw one I thought eww that's a crazy gimmick, but, I used it any way, I diddn't care. After going to the website, I thought well, it looks like it should work. and as I used it again today, well, it just dosn't seem right some how. Go see what I'm talking about here.

I'm thinking about getting one of these yeah I know it's a toy. at only 1/3 megapixel it's not all that practical as a "real" camera. but it's dirt cheap and it has a USB interface, and my little brother wants one real bad (the younger of the two younger brothers not the one with the new computer) hmm cordless mouse or low end digital camera.. what's wrong with me?? I can't stop finding ways to spend money!

I'm so sick of the mouse I'm using. It has no wheel. How I ever got by without one is beyond me. I must have a new mouse. I could go to walmart or some place and get one for under $10, but I'm kinda saving up for that new Logitech cordless optical, only cost $60. I'm gonna start rolling pennies if I have to. I eat in the dorms and all meals are prepaid,(in fact if I live there I'm required to buy at least 10 a week) so I can't save money there, I guess I could cut down on my vended beverage intake. (no not beer, I don't have that kind of cash.. I'm talking about pop machines) I'll put off buying new shoes a while longer. I'm at work right now, and i'm on the clock, so, at $6.25/hr, I made about a buck and a half updating my blog. ok, only about $58.50 to go.

I can't belive how stupid I am. I just realized that I mistyped my own last name in Eudora (my e-mail program) . Ugh I have no idea how long it's been that way. months? well, I only installed NT 5.0 (it dosn't deserve a sexy name like windows 2000 but that's beside the point) 6 months ago, so... that's the maximum length of time. ick. why diddn't I notice it untill now.. oh well , for those of you who know ... my last name is spelled _ _ _ T _ _ ok? a "t" not a "k".. my name does not have 2 Ks in it.

Update: I went through my outbox, the error has been there since April 25th, '01. My own family diddn't even notice the error.

I think I'm really starting to like the new RED Mountian Dew the first time I tried it, it tasted funny to me but I've come to like it. I think I'm starting to like it more than traditional Dew.

although sleep deprived I've had a good day today. I was kinda late for my lab , but it's no big deal.

My good friend Angela got a Game boy Advanced this week. I want one too. hmm I could dip into my server fund.. hmm or I could forget about getting a new cordless mouse. hmm.. too bad I can't pirate games for it. maybe I'll buy a nice game pad for my 'puter and get some roms and an emulator off the interent. I hope she lets me look at it some time. I don't have to touch it, I just want to see it up close.. it's so cool looking from what I've seen allready.

This evening I got what seems to me.. to be a cry for help. I do not want to get involved, and I don't know what I can do about this whole thing. Just more proof that I'm spineless. [by the way.. ever get a vibe and know who's on the other end of the phone before you answer it? -- I got that and second guessed it. bad idea] If I were a little meaner, a little more cruel, I wouldn't know some weird crap that I know now (gossip materal, no usefull knowlege). some how I feel like I should do something but I don't know who I can contact. or what good it would do. There is a lesson to be learned here. Know when you need to watch out for yourself. You can't save everyone but the starfish story dosn't apply here. in some cases that starfish will bite off your hand. (for those of you unfamiliar with the story I'm refering to, drop me a line and I'll let you in on it

My roomate is a prick. I woke up to blaring music at 5:30 in the fricken morning to blaring music. After I realize where the damn noise was coming from, I stumble over to my roomates stereo and try to shut it off or turn it down. no luck. I hit the "CD/radio" button and it switches over to the built in CD player. I hit the button again and continue searching for the friggen off switch. (it's very dark in the room by the way, after all it's 5:30 in the fricken morning.) Hitting the the CD/radio button caused my roomate to wake up (or at least lift his head to see what I was doing.) I tell him to turn it down (I know he has the buttons memorized) "it's too f---ing loud!" what happens next is a blur, but I do clearly remember him telling me that the reason his music is so loud, is that he's using it do drown out my snorring. That's just a crock of #%$^. He's sleeping right now. I could just slap the bastard.

On a less pissed off note, Ong is having some kind of surgery today. Something to do with her jaw. ouch. I know she's mentioned her adventures in orthidontia before so I'm guessing it has something to do with that. maybe if we ask her nicely she'll give us all the details.

My ex called me at 12:15 AM damn information. they'll give my number to any body. I'm gonna have to start screening my calls. . . o O (9 more weeks), I'm gonna strip my name from information.

$3.50/mo Caller ID service and $3.18/mo to rent a box. Sure I could purchase one for under $20 at wal-mart or something, but I think I'll only have Caller ID untill I move again in August.

My Dad must think I'm a compleate and total idiot. ( I know its father's day but I have to blog about this) I was standinging out side looking at the tree,.. he was wattering the 2 trees in our back yard. I made a commnet about all the strange things (fungi at least 2 different varieties) growing on the leaves. a couple min. later and I go *cough-chough* *hak* *ahem* *cough* (alergies) . My dad then tells me "don't eat even one of those leaves." I'm respond. "Huh?!" And he says "Don't eat even one leaf off that tree, with the [fungicide] stuff I put in the ground for that tree it'll kill you." I'm thinking what the hell?! It's a seedless Ash tree!! What kind of freak does he think I am?

OK.. so i go to Amigos right? yeah I stand there a bit.. only 5/8 awake, and order a #1 soft taco combo.. ok, I get it to go (I dunno why.. just did) they hand my my drink cup.. I go fill it. and as soon as I get it filled they have my order ready . o O ( mmm hot and fast) Of course I have to go get napkins and put them in my bag, (they don't give them to me gotta get them myself..) then I went to pick up some taco sauce.,., OK.. I'm headed out the door.. half way home (this place is about 3 blocks away I walked) I decide I'm way hungry and start eating my little potato gems.. . o O O ( hmm hot.. food good) ok. . while chewing on the 2nd one I realize I have a hand free to eat my gems with AAAAHHH! I forgot my drink at that place.. and I diddn't go back to get it. it must have been the deprivation of food and sleep that got me. because now with an eaten soft taco I wish I had gone back for it yet I don't want ti bad enough to go all the way back for it. Oh well it was a Dr Pepper, I don't have to worry abou the caffiene keeping me up. I have to be at work at 7:45 tomorrow.

I love my new Job and I love the class I'm taking this 5 weeks :) both are so easy!

I saw my friend Depak yesterday. He's changed. He's starting to grow a mullet and a beard, He's starting to look like Ben Jahrvi on Short Circuit . He used to be a real motivated person.. almost an overachiver. Intelegent, and well.. antislacking. Now he seems more mellow.. I think he's realized that he's young and he needs to find himself before he attacks life or he'll burn himself out on something he dosn't like or want. He told me that He will be graduating with his degree in BSE but it's not doing it for him and he's trying to find something that better suits him. I think I can relate I'm struggling to find that thing that I'm realy looking for.

It's been a while since I bloged last.. if any of you are wondering how the huskers turned out in the CWS, well last sunday they lost by 1 point (again) and were eliminated.

JennaBluehas been wondering where I have been.. well, it's nice to know I'm missed :) but I'm right here!!! *waves* here in Lincoln Nebraska. yes, I started school this week. and a new job! I even have a name tag for my job! I feel so special.

Well, the Huskers are going to the College World Series. and you're all thinking "Gee FJ, I diddn't know you gave a rat's ass about baseball." Well, I don't but you know gotta root for the home team! Kinda funny how the World series is held a mere 50 miles away In Omaha (as it always is). George W. Bush is gonna Throw out the opening pitch :) and as far as I know the Huskers will be playing that game!! . o O ( Go Big Red.. Go Big Red...)

My most favorite serch engine is Google.com I read some where that you can type in peoples names and find out stuff about them! well, I tried that, and it is so cool!! try it!

hmm every body says I should have more ram than 32mb in my yet-to-be-built server. I can't dissagree. you can go to Antislacker and find my post where I gave some detail.

Yes I'm alive.

one week untill I go back to school. yay broadband! My parents are strongly considering getting DSL. the phone company is the only ISP for miles they want to charge a $50 connection fee, and they'll force us to buy a modem for $250. Then it's $40 a month. the monthly rate isn't too bad but, $300 to get started is crazy.

I watched the weakest link this evening. can any one understand a damn word that that woman says?!? it's like the teacher from those peanuts cartoons. . it's not her accent that I have a problem with. she needs to open her mouth and annunciate!! maybe it's just my ear, I dunno, I got chewed out the other day for having the TV too loud. you know what? captions suck. yes more and more stuff is being captioned these days, but it's all crap. and the thing I hate most (more bitching about the family here): I get crap if I don't remember to swith captions off.

there is a "diff'rent Strokes" marathon on Nick at Night tonight.. heh heh.. Gary Coleman is funny for all the wrong reasons. you know he drives a hummer these days.

I'm quite bothered by my blog page. Merc, if you read this please fix it up for me or grant me access. It's the same as it was at the begining.

My little home town had it's yearly parade today. I skipped it. aparently a lot of people did. it was only 15 min. long this year. and not too much of a crowd.. other years the village has hired the carnival, there was a bright point to it though one word: funnelcakes!!

I still don't have any thing presentable at my business site. I have an idea of how I want it to look in my head but I suck with tables and stuff...

OK, this concludes the FJ update. We now return to going insane, allready in progress.
