*sigh* ever have one of those days?! it's been one for me. I've been meaning to get to a FJ update for some time, but, I've been bogged down with work. you know it's hard to get into the swing of things without falling back into a rut. and ooh you know I can't even add 3 numbers together... 11 plus 4 plus 7 is 22. yeah I got it right the first time. oh well. I need something to make me happy. hmm you can send me money. some times money makes me happy.

I rolled into Beemer at about 1:30 last night. My flight from LAX to MSP was delayed, but my flight from MSP to OMA was early. Whatever it was that was making me feel dead a few weeks back is gone now. I'm ready to take on the world again. I move down into the dorms at UNL this afternoon. fun fun.

I have loads of pictures.. so as soon as I find a good site for sharing them I'll get them uploaded. if any of y ou have recomendations let me know. I will blog more tonight, I need to finish packing and get my butt moving.

*sigh* some thing is still missing. whatever it is.. it dosn't seem to be in California.

I'm feeling good. I was dead last night, and at the time thought that I had a lousy day. but looking back on it it was awesome. it seems all I needed was some sleep. go figure. This is my last full day here in CA. I want to take this time to say that Merc and Wiz have been absolutely excellent hosts. I feel so much in their debt. Merc wiz, and Ong are some of the coolest people I've met. They have more than earned their coveted "Real Life friends of FJ" status.

As soon as I finish typing this I'm going to put my shoes on and hang out with Ong again. This afternoon I'll be going to fasion Island, and tonight the plan is to meet Greg (LokiV5 on Collegeclub). He's a CC old schooler. one of the first people I met on collegeclub. It should be cool.

I have about 30 shots left on my 64mb flash card. as of now I don't plan to even use the second card. as many pictures as I've taken some how it seems hard to belive that I thought I would take twice as many.

well, I'm off.. maybe I'll blog more tonight.,.. if I don't.. I will only blog once more.. I leave this sub tropical paradice around 3:00 PM tomorrow.

this isn't exactly a FJ update, but I must stop neglecting my blog. I caught up on sleep last night. but it seems that some how that sleep wasn't distributed evenly. sure I can type and form a coherient sentence but there is just no .. no... uhm .. intelegent thoughts coming out of my brain. Today I had lunch with Ong, it was cool to talk to her. later that day wiz and merc and I hung out by the pool.. yes there is a little pool here.. and a jacuzi. perhaps that's what did it.. that darn hot water sucked the life force out of me.

Well, tonight we went to.. .. this place... we played pool. I should have had another drink... as the fist one wore off I got worse and wiz and merc got better,.. I was leading but oh no. I ended up loosing. I guess I still had a good time. we got lost.. took the senic route. on the way there. it was al pretty cool for not having planed any thing for this day. The origonal plans went askew. adn we did well to improvise.

up untill just now I was going to tell about my vacation so far. but. I'm not feeling well. I'm gonna stop here

I love the beach. One day I will return. There is so much that I could blog about, ,,, I'm gonna let my head clear and then I't should all come out. look for an FJ update within the next 36 hours.

Ever have one of those days?! you know, the ones where you kinda oversleep and then fall asleep durring class, and miss loads of important stuff, when you can't figure out the damn homework for the life of you and then at work you try to do something but your brain went to bye bye land and well, you couldn't make it work. I feel increadibly pathetic.

I got paid today. I spent most of it allready. Last night I spent about $200 at tigerdirect.com I bought 3 64mb compact flash cards, and a USB flash card reader. Compact flash is dirt cheap right now. A 64mb card is only $ $39.99 after a $20 rebate!! It's just my luck that a week after I buy a flash card for $80, they drop in price by half. I also spent about $126 at compgeeks.com. My little brother wants a camera, so, I found a nice digital one and suggested it to my parents. They told me to go with my own judgement and I got one while I cood. It was out of stock for a while and it's marked as almost gone now. I got the Translucent model, it was more expencive for some reason, but I think it looks cooler than the solid black one. It was only $29. no flash, no upgradeable memory, only 1/3 of a megapixel max resolution, but it's USB and comes with every thing we need. (cable, batteries ect) I also got cordless mouse and keyboard. $39, so the price was right. sure, I'd love to have one of the cordless optical mice, but I've used optical mice before and I wasn't impressed enough to fork over the extra cash. While I was at it, I picked up a DVD drive. My CD-rom drive needs to be replaced. I don't have a DVD decoder card, so, I'll have to pick up some software to play my DVDs with. At compgeeks.com they have a thing where when you add some thing to your cart, they offer you special deals on other things you might be interested in. Well, one of those items was DVD decoding software, and for only $10! over a 50% savings! well, it so happens that the item is out of stock. so.. now what?! I guess I'll be contacting them tomorrow to see what they plan to do about it.

*ooooffh* what a week and a half. I havn't blogged in a long time. I've been busy. I got a C+ on my C++ midterm exam :-/ It's a tough class considering we're cramming a semester of stuff into 5 short weeks.. well, I'm gonna go pass out now. there are a hundred things I'd blog about but I don't give a damn about anything right now.
