I had so much to blog about in that last post I forgot half the stuff I was gonna blog about.. so now for your reading.. um pleasure. another post
My mom got bit by a dog the other day. She was out walking.. and got bit by large male basset hound. Guess who owns the damn thing... The only cop in town. (Beemer only has 700 some people. we only have one cop.) The dog wasn't provoked or anything it just ran up behind her and left canine marks in the back of her leg. The guy has four large dogs. There is no reason to have four large dogs in town. There are not currently and rules on the books about owning dogs in Beemer, but there may very well be some in the future. So.. if the dog owned by the only cop sinks his teeth into your leg what you gonna do call the cops?? We demanded proof of vaccination, and my mom got a tettenus shot. This is aparently not the first time there has been a dog agression problem, and had it been a child and not an adult the victum would have been mauled. The dog attacked her from behind, and bit her above the knee. Right around where a 5-year-olds neck or face would be. Also, a five year old wouldn't expect the dog to attack.. my mom diddn't .. she figured that the dog was more bark than bite.
The dog will most likely be destroyed. Not just because the guy has no controll over it (did the dumb crap ever hear of a chain? or dog training for that matter??) There is no way the guys insurance will permit him to keep this dog. We won't be taking this to court either. Guess what breed one of his other dogs is.. it's a wolf-hybred. yeah frieking half wolf. with a basset hound that damn mean I wouldn't want to mess with his other dogs.
This guy is kinda weird.. well strange to say the least... he's not responcible .. but that asside lets take a look his living arangements.. For a while he was renting a house with him and his family.. It was an averaged sized house for beemer.. not a bad place. He dosn't pay rent for about a year.. and heh well we all know what happens when you don't pay rent. SO.. He moves in with this other family. Lets call them the "K" family.. So the cop and his wife and their kids.. and Mr and Mrs K and their kids.. all living in one house.. (don't forget the dogs ;) ) ... well some time goes by and Mrs, K kicks Mr K out of the house.. .. so now the the cop is the only male adult living there. .. some time later (we're talking like monts not years or any thing) The cop's wife leaves him. So.. Now in this one house.. it's the cop, Mrs. K, and all the kids.. (and the damn dogs). Mind you the cop and his family have no relation to the K family..
Weird things in Beemer.... I move back to Lincoln tomorrow.

Whoa.. time for another post. Have ya missed me?? I've been sick. I have so many things to blog about so this is gonna be a long post.. brace yourself.
Yes, I was sick... my brother (the graduating one) was sick with some illness for about a week. Must have been a bad cold, because I came down with it and was pretty sick for a couple of days. I kicked it on my own but my brother got a shot in the rear of something-or-other and a prescription for antibiotics.. so I dunno. Interestingly, he has a bad sore throat for a few days. I had a mildly sore throat for about a day. I have toncils, he dosn't.
I got all the crap from my previous post straitened out. On Monday I drove down to Lincoln, submitted a housing contract, and turned in my key. I also put in about 10 hours of work. (yay - money) Later in the week I got my class schedule figured out. since my cumulative GPA will be a 2.4x They won't allow me to take accounting 201 (I need a 2.5 -- what a joke that is. I mean c'mon that class has no math or business prerequisite) It realy sucks because I have no idea what class to take. I need to take 10 credit hours this summer to get my financail aid situation back in order. so.. I need to find a 3 credit hour course I can take. There are basically 3 summer sessions. a 3 week "pre-session" and two 5 week sessons. I'm taking "The History of Rock Music" in the 3 week session, and Statitistics in the first 5 week session. I need to figure out what class I can take within the next couple of weeks.
All but one of my grades are in. I got a B+ in English. An A- in the Intro to Theatre class, an A- in ASL II, and an A+ in History. The A+ is totally freaking me out. I'm pretty sure I passed the class, but I don't see how I could have gotten an A+, lets say I got a perfect score on the last exam.. that would ahve made my grade a Bsomehting. so after scailing maybe I could have gotten an A+. However, I doubt I got a perfect score on the last exam.. so lets say I earned a C.. not impossible at all. I find it unlikely though that the instructor scaled that much. Not because an instructor won't ever do that, but because I'm guessing that quite a few people did better than me. heh maybe they diddn't. My biggest fear is that it's a mistake. if it is a mistake and they change it to something else I'm fairly confident I passed.. it's just this not knowing that's killing me.
My grandparents have not been doing well lately. A few weeks ago my grandpa was doing pretty bad, he went in for some tests, and they found he has 9 blockages around his heart. He needs a quadruple bypass and a heart valve replacement. Unfortunately he's not likely to survive the operation. Even if he did it would only extend his life by maybe six months. At his current state, doctors guess that he has about 3 or 4 month to live. He has had congestive heart failure for some time... he had a pacemaker put in a few years back. His mind is still there though.. There is so much I can still learn from him. He's a first generation natural born citizen. Both his parents came over from Germany when they were fairly young.. this must have been around 1900-1910. My great grandfather once had a battle with Teberculosis. The remedy of the time was to move to Arizona where the warmer drier climate will help him to fight off the disease. That's just what he did, he moved to AZ for about 4 years. I find it quite interesting how the medical field has advanced in less than 100 years. My grandmother is slowly dying of Alzheimer's disease. She's been in the nursing home for a while. She was placed in the hospital for a couple of days recently for high blood pressure, and again the other day for high blood pressure and having fainted or passed out. We think it's possible that she had a small stroke or something. As much as technology has progressed, there is still nothing to stop or cure Alzheimer's disease. It's a cruel disease. I belive that my grandparents will pass on within days of each other. If my grandmother dies, it will kill my grandpa.. he won't want to live anyway... the pain he has gone through lately had probably shortend his life. I don't think they'll ever find a cure for a broken heart.
My other grandmother (my dad's mother) died quite a few years back, she was only 52. She died of a heart attack (or complicatiions of one...) nearly 30 years later we have the technology that could have saved her.
I move back to Lincoln on Sunday. I'll stick around for Beemer Public High School's last graduation ceremony. It should be interesting to see..

Got to Beemer around 1:00am... Woke up early this morning... got my brother out of bed.. it was raining.. .. pouring... drove the truck to Lincoln. loaded up stuff. cleaned the room.. ran way behind schedule... the RA was cool about it. Came home... here I be. . tired and hungry.. I'm cooking a pizza.. in a couple hours my parents will be home (I think). When I'm done eating I'll shower and nap.
On the way to Lincoln this morning, I realized I forgot my keys,.. I was driving a differnt vehicle so.. I diddn't have my room key. No big deal the Residence Director was pretty cool about it. Luckily (if you wanna look at it that way) I'll be going to Lincoln on Monday. So, I can turn in my key then and everything will be fine. My brother was realy jazzed up about the trip to Lincoln today.. He had a good time. I made him do some cleaning... like dusting.

All heck is breaking loose.
I just found out that I do not have a place to live this summer. Aparently rent here in Lincoln runs at a minimum of around $400 then adding utilities, you're talking $600 a month.. Well it'd be cheaper to live in the dorms so.. thats what we'll be doing. Problem is though that I don't have a summer housing contract, and it's too late to get one. I should be able to get one on Monday. I will have to drive to Lincoln at the crack of dawn, Get a housing contract when the place opens at 7:00.. submit that housing contract, then I'll at least be able to work the rest of the day so it won't be a total loss. Now, tonight I need to take all my stuff home... then early tomorrow morning my brother and I will come back for my couch. at 9:00 I check out.. and then as I mentioned in my earlier post it's back to Beemer. This weekend I absolutely must come up with 10 Credit hours of classes that I can take this summer. Its a long story but if I want to stay in school I must take and successfuly complete 10 credit hours. I have no freaking idea how I'm gonna pay for this. I think I'll be shooting for lots of hours at work.
Well it's about 6:00 .. I'm gonna find some food then get back to cleaning.. and packing.

Today is thursday. I don't have a place to live after about 9:00AM Saturday. Don't worry too much.. I can rest my rump in Beemer, if I have to. The problem is that if I'm stuck in Beemer all next week I won't be able to work all next week. That totally sucks. Also, I NEED to take 10 credit hours this summer .. ugh. I'm signed up for like two.. isn't that great.. Tonight I need to clean my room and start loading my Jeep. I havn't gotten a hold of the guy that I'm gonna be renting a place with. I lost his phone number.. so.. I'll load up my jeep and if there is a place to live in next week then all is cool. If there is no place to live then I haul all my stuff to Beemer. This will happen tomorrow. On saturday, I will take my brother. (the one that's 10.) and we'll borrow my Dad's truck and haul my couch some where.. To my new pad if I have one and to Beemer if I don't. My other brother graduates on Saturday.(He's graduating from Northeast Community college -- it's a tech school) . which is why I have to watch the younger one. I will not be attending the graduation ceremoney but I will have to be around for the reception later that day. (la-de-frieaking-da) According to the college website he's graduating with a A.A.S.-- Electrician - Residential and Comercial.
On tuesday of this week I had my final exam... *sigh* I totally F@#$ed up on a big part of it. I feel increadibly dumb. I'm bummed about it .. at least I was.. now I'm numb to the whole idea.
I agree with Merc Mac OS X is pretty darn cool. it is better than windows XP. I wonder if Apple will ever get crazy and port OS X to a Intel based system .. Hopefully it won't be NextStep all over again.
I still think I'm going crazy... I can't find any other explanation for the way I've been lately. I need a vacation.

School is expencive. Look at this It's twice as expencive as what I'm paying now. It's hard to tell but.. it looks like I won't recieve financial aid going as a visiting student. This totally blows. Well, I think what I'll do is just keep doing what I'm doing (and prepare my grades and class schedule as if I were going) and then talk to the financial aid people. Where am I gonna get $8000?
update (sortof): I just got back from my ASL II clas I got a 87% on my Final :( I'll be getting a B+ for a final course grade. an A- if realy lucky.
