Not much else to say at this time... we've addes the title feature Blogger provides... I'm not sure what I want to do with it... some times I feel like a title some times I don't.. so I will use it as I feel the need I guess.

For you faithful readers this is what's happening. My good friend Merc, who is my gracious web host and designer, is doing some work on his network of sites. (of which WhatsWrongWithThatBoy.com is a part). It was quite timely because I haven't posted anything in over a week. According to his site (mercuryfrog.com) his "reboot" is be complete on July 21. I'm looking forward to what he has up his sleeve.
Here are FJ's vital stats: No job, no girlfriend, no money. I feel like I'm in a 3 point stance ready to fire out but gun-shy of a false-start. (football terminology) Anyway, I need to have my helmet strapped and ready to fire off the line... to put it another way it's like I took a step forward and a half step back.. but I need to take it full speed. I'm going to make a list of things that need to be done and if I don't I'll have to answer to the little piece of paper. Sure, it sounds silly but If I put anything off that paper will be starring me down. Once I get the ball rolling I'm confidant that I'll continue to improve my "anti-slackocity".
I'm in Beemer right now. I came home because I didn't really have anything going on in Lincoln, and the RAM for the Vol. Fire Dept's computer came in. What a difference 256MB of RAM makes. Also my aunt from OKC left for home this morning, after spending a week here. She recently had foot surgery and is recuperating.
Yesteryday we cleaned up the part of the "chandler pear" tree that was left standing. I guess we'll worry about the stump another weekend. This evening I saw my old friend from High school. News is the wedding is not in September. It will now be in May of '04. He also mentioned that we may get tux's but then he said something about black jeans. Oh no... cowboy theme. I already told him I'm not wearing cowboy boots, but he expected that... and the conversation continued.. and eventually I uttered something like "I'm sorry, but that's tacky" He plans to wear a cowboy hat during the wedding. I don't care what he says, but I feel he should not wear a cowboy hat in the church.
Last weekend, a large storm ripped through Beemer. Gusts of wind reaching 90+mph did a large amount of damage through the village. I have pics.... but my server is still dead (I should see if I can fix it). Light posts on main street were snapped in half.. trees were knocked over and whatnot. (hence cleaning up the tree this weekend) We spent most of Sunday of that weekend cleaning up a very large hackberry tree in the back yard of the house we're renting out.
ZZ TOP will be performing in Lincoln during the Nebraska State Fair this year. I helped my parents buy tickets online. (what would they do with out me) I've lived in Nebraska my whole life and never have I been to the state fair.. sad.. I know.

Hey everybody.. time for a post!
I'm in beemer tonight and I got a nice buzz.... rolled in around 9:30... no one was home. watched some TV for about a hour or so and the phone rang ... my parents were at the bar, and my dad told me if I wanted to come down I could. (free beer .. mmmmmm) So I got to the Hay Barn (it's a bar and grill) around 10:30 and had about 4 beers. Then my Aunt from OKC showed up (really she did.. she recently had foot surgery and her youngest son and his girlfriend drove her up.) Anyway, around 11:30-midnight we walked across the street to the other bar in town. A girl I knew from high school was there and saw me. This was the first time i had ever been in that bar and even remotely close to drinking age. So even though I'm the same age as her brother she told me happy birthday and asked me when it was... well of course I told her december... 2 years ago. Anyway, she bought me a shot of something.. which was nice :) . and then I had another beer... so 7 drinks in all. I don't drink very often so I'm not feeling too bad right now. I could have had more but in Nebraska closing time is at 1:00 AM. Oh yes... you loyal readers want links and whatnot of last weekend... well I'll edit this post and set some up ... I promise :p
happy 4th of July!!
