I diddn't even realize today was St. Patrick's Day untill I had to search Google for something at work.
I've been quite busy lately. Vernie came for a 10 day visit, which was wonderful. Sheflew back to MQT last Sunday. I miss her It's hard to be apart from someone you love, but at the same time I feel happy feelings that I have some one to love that loves me back the way she does.
As I mentioned we went to the zoo.. and I think overall we both had a great time. She'll be moving to Norfolk after she graduates in May. So far the plan is that she'll go to grad school KU. things are looking hopefull.
I picked up a book that Merc recomended... "7 habbits of highly effective people" I've not gotten very far into it but it looks like a good read. ]
I had an interesting conversation with Merc the other day:
In the middle of being busy and realizing there's just not enough time I've decided to prioritize my projects. There are a lot of neat things i'd like to learn or build or see or do, but, I can't do them all.. so some day soon, I hope to sit down, list a lot of the things I'd like to do.. find the top 5 and then work on only those.
I had my hearing tested the other day, no significant change since last year. That's interesting... I'll have to blog more about stuff like that later.. I should go to bed now.

Vernie is on spring break and is spending it with me.
I picked her up after work on friday night and we had a weekend full of activities. We went shopping, then we went to Lincoln, we got to Lincoln later than we had first planeed. We got a room and ate out for dinner. by the time we were done eating it was about 10:00 so we went back to our room and crashed. We got up early the next morning, had breakfast at IHOP and drove to Omaha to spend the day at the Zoo.
We met up with The Captain, and his wife and two kids. We all had a good time. We had a great time, I guess it dosn't seem like much when I sum it up in a little paragraph but I'm tired.
