So many things I could put in here... so much time has passed since I posted to my poor little blog.
I'm still alive and doing well actually. Vernie moved in about 7 and a half weeks ago. After only about a month of job hunting she's found a job. It's not her dream job but it seems good from what I've heard. It's really sucked for her at first but I think it's already growing on her. Her hours aren't the best and she has to flip-flop shifts, but it's in her field. I think she'll do very well in her job.
Aabout a month ago Vernie and I flew to Chicago for Anime Central It was fun. There are so many differnt kinds of Pocky I had no idea. My favorite is the strawberry pocky witht he little bits of strawberry on them... mmm.. and the dark chocolate ("Men's Pocky") is good too.
My brother got married about 2 weeks ago. I was a groomsman in the wedding. There was some drama durring the weekend but it's not going to make it into my blog. The reception/dance was a overgrown prom. I had so much beer :) I actually drank mostly on the "float /hayrack" or whatever you want to call it. You see, here it's customary to get a flatbed and put some square straw bales on it (for sitting on) decorate it and then right after the wedding go driving around making noise. This gives the guests a chance to go from the church to the Ballroom and get seated and soforth anyway. So.. instead of driving around for 45 min to an hour we must have been nearly 2 hours. I know because I can't drink beer that fast.. I must have had.... 6 or 7 beers. I was drunk. It made the rest of the wedding party more tolerable.
Last weekend I went to Boystown research hospital to have a consultation with an audiologist. It was informative and worth while I think.. I need to go back once I determine how to pay for the visit (darn insurance dosn't cover that sort of thing) and the audiologist also wants me to see an otolaryngologist.. again not sure my insurance will cover it. I'll post more about that as it progresses.
I havn't had much time to do anything lately I've got lots of projects that I'd like to work on but I often find myself too tired to do any of them once everything I need to do gets done. Overall though things are going well.
